Training Centers
What are the needs of the modern training center or vocational
classroom? Are the needs “static”, or may they change in the future - or
even over the course of days or weeks?
In
today's technical training environment, students may need to utilize all
kinds of equipment at their desks from computers to hand tools to test
and calibration equipment, even to semi-automated machinery. So,
conventional student desks may not fit the bill, and being able to adapt
the desk or workbench to new training needs is important. You also want
a student workstation that is durable, easily changed to fit students of
different physical characteristics, and that will accommodate students
with special needs. That’s a lot to ask, but Arlink products can
deliver.

Series 8000 Modular Workstation Systems can be set up in a variety of
ways to suit the class room style that best suits the situation.
Workstations can be “stand alone” or integrated with others using our
simple Starter and Adder approach which allows you to create many
different layouts by sharing system components between stations. Our
desktops come in a variety of surfaces such as standard laminate,
static-dissipative laminate, shop top, stainless steel, painted steel,
and other solid surfaces. Utility beams can deliver power, gases, or
communications right to the point of use at each individual desk.
Drawers and cabinets may be added for storage of tools or documentation,
and a variety of accessories allow students to set up their desks for
easy access to the equipment and related items they’ll need in their
training. You can even put it all on wheels to increase the flexibility
of the learning environment. When preparing students to work in
industry, use the same equipment they’ll encounter in the work place –
